Drawing charcoal made from fallen twigs, branches and driftwood collected around Lake Superior, Minnesota, then carbonized. Each box is about palm sized, measuring 3.3" x 2.3" x 1.2,” and contains charcoal in a range of sizes made from a variety woods. The nuance of the homemade drawing charcoal offers natural differentiation in hardness (brittle to powdery) and tone (light gray to warm brown to velvety black).
